Went in before the Sunderland game on boxing day and it was utter shite. Asked for 2 pints of lager only to be given 2 pre poured pints of what i can only describe as liquid shit and was charged �7 for the privilege. I took them back to the bar to ask if they wouldn't mind changing them and was greeted with a look as though i'd just walked in in a City top. I love the place itself but the staff and beer need a good kick up the arse.

Had one of the best pub sunday roasts here for a long time. Ive never seen so much chicken on one plate. I got thinking whether they rear their chickens myself and that they are some kind of super chickens with skin heads and flick knives there was that much meat on the plate. Nice pint of Doom bar as well.

The Horse and Groom, Great Portland Street
Best pub in the area by a country mile. The beer is always very good and the staff are great. Enough said

The Rising Sun, Tottenham Court Road
The pub itself seems nice with a decent pint and average prices. My only problem with the place is the staff ( barman ) who was nothing but rude to my mate when he went up and asked for our drinks. I saw there was a problem at the bar so i went up to see what the problem was. I asked my mate and as soon as i did the barman started being rude to me aswel. I exchanged unpleasantries with him and walked out. If anyone reads this and then gets the same treatment off this idiot then please hit him in the face. I wanted to do this but it's not really my style although im sure i would have took great pleasure in doing so. Why do people do bar work when they clearly don't know how to or want to do it.......... Idiot

The Court, Tottenham Court Road
Avoid this place at all costs. It used to be ok ( just ok ) but now it really is a shit hole. The staff don't give a damn about the customers and the beer is really really crap. The worst thing though about this place is the bogs. They really do have to go down as the worst bogs i have ever seen or smelt. The smell of stale piss is so over powering that your are retching as you do what you do in there. There are fly's everywhere in there and some of them have been there that long that they try and mugg you as you have a piss they are that big. Don't go

I used to go in here a while ago when the staff were really nice and the beer always good. Then the staff changed and the beer went downhill from there. It used to be service with a smile but now it's service with a scowl im afraid. There is one barmaid in there with the biggest chip on her shoulder it's unreal. If you don't like the job then leave woman. Won't be going back here as there are plenty of better pubs within 1 minute walking distance. You have been warned.

A good little pub this most of the time. If you want a nice relaxing pint during the week then it's a haven but if you fancy a few on a Friday then forget it as it gets full of all the media idiots from around the area but the staff are great, the beer is very good if a little over priced and there always seems to be a good atmosphere. All in all a great little boozer

Went there for a Christmas party and it was just awful. I was there no more than 15 mins when a mass brawl broke out with around 10 to 12 pissed idiots and the door staff did nothing. Infact the door staff were far to busy outside telling people where to stand and just being generally rude to people. The place was that packed that you couldn't stand comfortably and the fact that the dj thought it was a good idea to play Justin Timberlake at full blast all night just added to a truly unpleasant evening. The staff behind the bar were rude and the majority of the customers were just as unpleasant as the staff. Avoid this place at all costs. It's the kind of place that gives Soho and London in general a bad name.

The Anchor, Southampton
If your ever in Southampton and fancy a pint then do yourself a favour and avoid this shit hole of a pub at all costs. Possibly the worst pub ive ever been in and ive been in a few. The beer had bits floating in it and we were charged �3.20 for it. The woman/ man ( don't know what it was really ) behind the bar was just disgusting towards everyone who came in to contact with her. Avoid at all cost unless you like drinking shit and being intimidated by a bearded lady behind the bar.
