Went down on a Wednesday which is the current quiz night. Started about half eight. Good beer on tap and the young quiz master was very funny. We didn't win but all had a good night. Definitely would recommend both the quiz and the pub.

The cocktails are well made and the staff take pride in making them. That tragically is the nly good part od this very generic and bland bar.
What however particular galled me when I popped in for a drink the other day after work is that just about every table in the entire room was reserved. with a completely empty bar i was still unable to sit by the window as I had hoped after seeing it was quiet. Furthermore no one came in to the bar for the half hour I was there either. This is an increasing trend that I don't like to see.
Overall much like a hooker. Probably quite skilled but absolutely souless.

Went to the new student night last thursday called 'spank', probably going to go again tonight. There were a few bottles and pints for �1.50 so the night was cheap. Two dj's played, both were good playing what you'd expect from a late night bar/club with a few nice surprises. The place was rammed but service was quick since bottles were the order of the night. (obviously the Tom Cruise impersonators are gone. Though the short blonde guy who kept serving us was pretty hot)
The place could maybe do with a bit of a refurb but I'm a student so as long as the drinks are cheap (and the barmen fit) I give it the thumbs up.
