Well , bloody hell what a change, the simmonds brothers have worked wonders here. This pub is always busy, full of friendly people, and the beer is great too. What a change, pub landlords around Peterborough, could learn from this!!!!!!!!!

My other half does like me coming here as she can see me dribbling over the bar maids, sneaked in for a few or ten. Stella top goes down nicely, the locals are good fun as well, see some of work colleagues as well. Looks great after the refurb, more space to eat, and bring your family as well.

I Thought i would show my new wife where i used to work many moons ago, the beer was ok, The food, well i can not put anything down without being offensive, but not a good meal, the staff were friendly, and even the weirdo in the corner was happy. Everybody was happy, even though i went to get a Macdonalds after the meal. Well maybe chef was ill!!!!!!!!!

Beer was great, the real ale was fresh and clear and slipped down a treat, the food was even better, well cooked and tasted great. The downside, pub was full of the assorted characters, some very pleasent, the others not so. Did not like the rude comment someone shouted at my wife, why does this pub attract, Loonies, Conspiracy theorists, and creatures from the land of egocentricity, come on guys a pub is meant to be fun, you do not have to take as a mission in life.
One more thing the staff were bloody good as well, more friendly than the customers.

This pub has improved a little since my last review, which i know caused some upset. The beer i had was excellent, the food was great and served in good time. I do miss that wetherspoons feel it once had, being in the middle of Northwood, it had a middle class mix of patrons. These days it has a sort of Proletarian and Parochial view about it, however the staff were friendly and a lot happier than the last time i visited. See i am not a harsh critic.

Village Inn, Pinner

Nice place, still not the same after the departure of Cathy "Mad" Cohen, when she was around you always new you were in for a good laugh.
The beer is pretty good, the food service is way above standard even by the company standards.

I still visit now and again even though i live a huge distance away.

I used to love this place when i worked there, not anymore, seems a hostile enviroment. Apart from a good pint of ale, and a fun conversation with two patrons, i am told nights here can be hazardous.

This is a pub i used to work in about five years ago, it was nice to see the place has changed for the better. Better beer availability, better quality ale, and the food has much improved. All food and drink sold, are excellent and a fair price.

The management and staff really work hard to impress the customers. When i worked there the barmaids were only interested in becoming candidates for single motherhood, and the male staff just seemed bored with everything. Now we have a complete change, the new manager is getting rid of the C**P and bringing in families, surely the way forward for a well run pub.

Alright for just pub crawling, the beer was good and the staff were helpful. Not a place i would make my local, but most of my friends say i am a snob. Apart from the scrote like younger drinkers, who caused trouble outside the place one night, it is ok for a quick pint.

Dragon, Werrington

Quiet small pub, with little or no atmosphere, the beer was standard, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Tends to have a chav feel to it in the evenings, a middle of the road establishment.

I have only been in this pub once and thats it. If you like lots of very pissed people mumbling about things you cannot understand it's great. However if like to have a decent conversation, and be friendly forget it.

Only visit this one rarely, the beer is ok, staff are always good even during your busy periods. Can be a bit rough sometimes, but i guess it's all down to perception as they say.

The Three Horseshoes, Werrington

A very nice pub, situated in the village of werrington, i always find a better class of patrons in this place. The ale is always good, the barstaff are always paying attention to the job they do, and a good friendly atmosphere.

Only ever had one bit of bother in here, but the person causing the trouble gave up in the end, when he realised nobody was interested. Apart from that a bloody good pub!!!!!!!!!

Well i have to say i am shocked by the state of this pub, after coming down from Peterborough for a weekend to see my mother and her annoying second husband. I had to get out the house for an hour or two, so decided to visit the pub i used to work in, it breaks my heart to see the way it is now. A rough, loud, and scary atmosphere, a fry cry from the days of Wetherspoons, poor beer, staff who are completely demoralized. My old pub in Peterborough The College Arms is bad enough, somebody should start a campaign to revive this one. Tim Martin Buy this pub back, and show you are the man you claim to be. The Misty Moon, sounds like something out of a carry on film, that is the rant over!!!!

Sorry to hear this pub has gone down hill so much, so decided to look for myself. You guys and gals are right about this pub. Service was not bad, the beer was ok, strange mixture of customers and an atmosphere i can not desribe without upsetting somebody. I used to work in this pub when it was under the control of wetherspoons, The landlord at the time was Mike Barlow, whatever happened to him, or the irish barmaid Violet,or Richard, or big martin.
A sad demise, for what was once a good pub.
