so glad I returned to this pub after my stint abroad, the food last night were fantastic keep it up. the garden was packed and pete was his usual friendly self see you over the bank hols pete.

Again its been a while and it will be an experience i wont miss, slow service plastic food and wooden staff off to the King and queen for me .

Its been a while as i have been out of the country but since my return I popped to the Local and its the great to be back. love the ales love the food and the new menu and the way pete is so friendly nothing is too much trouble for that guy well done you ....

great to see the notice board at this pub supporting the local Wendover footie team is there no end to the local feel in the pub well done ....

I agree with the comments about the red lion i too voted with my feet and walked the short distance to the King and Queen great beer and local homecooked food. place to meet lots of the RL locals

been a while thought i would ease of the booze for a while but spent a lovely hot sunday in the garden of the kingy surrounded by the smell of a wholesome roast until it got the better of me it was very tasty indeed went home at 10.oopm ophs!!love the new wine list.... book me in next week.

whilst this is not a forum for us to keep up this banter funny thou it is.... for someone who is not local you seem to have scoured the pubs in the village since christmas being chased by the man with the stick as every pub you seem to be in he seems to follow you!!!!!!! odd yeh..
my mother used to say " if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all" so lets stick to the rules the kingy is great so is the landlord and everyone has a right to their beliefs even your asian stalker.

I think the whole of WENDOVER has had issue's with the person you are referring to but to say the landlord is a WIMP was harsh as he is liked by so many, works 7 days a week 24 hours a day to provide all with a clean well presented pub that serves excellent beer and food for the local.
You being one of the many loyal visitors What has changed????

I used to be a regular in the red lion but during it's refurb i become a regular at the Kingy as it is fondly known. it is a lovely clean, really traditional local with excellent food, home-made chips. the landlord is the life a soul, cute as well... nothing is too much trouble for him, well run loads of draught trendy lagers and good choice of real ales. excellent garden with lots of seating.
well done. come on you locals support this great pub

The King and Queen, Wendover
I was very pleased to read the The King and Queen has WON the "best Village pub in Aylesbury Vale" thats fantastic well deserved Peter the Landlord and team.
great food great atmosphere and i love the new decoration and the decking great area for us walkers.
