The Farmers Inn, Scaynes Hill

Seems to be returning back to a travellers pub what a shame, quite intimidating bunch.

The Fox and Hounds, Romney Street

Saturday lunchtime very nice indeed, this is definately my most favorite pub by far!

The Fox and Hounds, Romney Street

had lunch today 4 of us, very good food in lovely warm cosy surroundings. Open fire roaring and crackling away, Good range on the menu. The men said the beers were kept in good condition and our(the girls) wines were a very nice Fleurie. Food was very well presented and the Landord and Landlady were very nice people.
Definately a pub to visit!!
I have booked again for 3 sundays time and will be writing a review then!

The Plough and Harrow, Eynsford

Used to come here a lot and enjoyed the old decor, visited today for mother's day lunch and was disappointed. The refurb last year has taken away all the atmosphere, it feels like it's trying to be a trendy city pub and it just doesn't work. Food was mediocre at best and very highly priced. Location of course is lovely but it needs more than that to bring me back.

The Malt Shovel Inn, Eynsford

This picture needs updating, where is the authentic old dark wood furniture, now this place looks like a cheap spanish apartment with grotty "antique" pine and a hideous red carpet.....we weren't plannng to eat and it's just as well as I couldn't have spent more than the time it took to drink a quick half in there!

Two Brewers, Shoreham

Bar was virtually empty when we arrived and the barmaid (who looked pretty bored) said it was always like that.... decor much to be desired which could be why....won't be going back.

The Olde George Inn, Shoreham

Very disappointed with this pub, we weren't made at all welcome and the food was very average. Will not be rushing back any time soon.

The Fox and Hounds, Romney Street

Went to the Fox & Hounds for lunch yesterday, it was packed with ramblers all enjoying their beer and food and having a great time. We had a lovely lunch, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely go back in the evening for dinner. You must meet Gemma the spotted dog, she is gorgeous!
