This is one of my very fav pubs you just have to visit it there ain't many like it it ain't no wetherspoons this is what pubs are all about!
This will shock the youf of today as it's no wine bar but it is full of real people, that could be intimadating to the plastic pub brigade!
We were in with the locals strait away because we talked to them, great pub!

The Cannon, Newport Pagnell

Lovely little pub great real ale a friendly talkative landlord and barmaid, we need more pubs like this.
Note:- I thought it was polite to remove your hat on entering a room, but then that would require manners.

The Royal Oak, Stoford

What a delight to find this pub.
Myself and six other Gillingham supporters walked from Yeovil Junction station and were made so welcome we stayed for more than 2 hours. The real ale was good the food was good honest pub grub and the people realy friendly what more could you want!
To top it all our football tickets got left in the pub, so the landlady sent her son accross Yeovil to deliver them to us at the ground.
Needless to say we returned after the game and continued to enjoy their hospitality and met a realy friendly bunch of locals, great pub!

The Arrow, Yeovil

This Pub was nowhere near as bad as I was led to believe. Although an estate pub, it had a very drinkable real ale the staff were friendly and even the Yeovil footy supporters made us at home.
