The Victoria Hotel, Beeston

Best Pub in Nottingham (Now the Moon in Toton has gone).
Outstanding Beer and special atmosphere. Something about this place is a joy to sit in for a while, especially on a blustery Autumn day. Strange but true. Very welcoming, and about every Beer you could possibly need. Beer menu changed or rather improved upon (if that were possible) regularly too. Second only to the Fat Cat in Norwich for Real Ales.

The Cadland Inn, Chilwell

Used to love this pub. Not any more. Too trendy.

Railway Inn, Sawley

Quite impressed with this pub. Looks austere from the outside, but quite different inside. Good beer too, if not a little steeply priced.

The Harrington Arms, Sawley

Used to be nice. Not as good now.

Harrington Arms, Long Eaton

Love this place. So atmospheric. Used to be smokey too, but that all added to it. Great pub.

The Corn Mill, Toton

It's OK for a Green King boozer. Better when owned by Kimberley.

The Other Side of the Moon, Toton

Terrible thing that day the Moon closed. Nothing in Toton now. Great memories of happy times spent there.

The Fur and Feather Inn, Woodbastwick

Best pint of Mild I have ever tasted served here. Consistently brilliant beers and food. This one is a winner.

The Rising Sun, Coltishall

Used to visit this pub after Pike fishing on the nearby Coltishall common. Great for a warming winter pint, accompanied by the excellent sound of jets from the nearby base (now sadly gone). I have great memories of this place.

Kings Head, Bawburgh

Great location, and a great pub for buisiness meetings, combined with a crafty pint of ale sneaked in.

The Woolpack, Norwich

Used to love coming here. Always nice beer and, I don't know, but seemed a very peaceful location. Nice in the summer.

The West End Retreat, Norwich

Had some excellent nights in the little pool room, whilst living in Norwich. Remember staring at the Boxing memorabilia. Beer cheap too as I remember. No real ales, though, but a nice trouble-free local.

Trafford Arms, Norwich

Great pub, great Ales!!! Enough said.

The Finnesko and Firkin, Norwich

Great pint of Mild!
Caught up with this pub again on the way to last years Beer festival. Very nice place now, and good beer behind the bar.

The Bread and Cheese, Norwich

Cheery little place with nice relaxed atmosphere. Beer OK too.

Boltz Wine Bar, Norwich

What a shock returning to see this. The Ironmongers was great and had character. This place is rubbish now.

The Fat Cat, Norwich

Outstanding. Used to live just over the road form this place!!! What a delight!!! Beer second to none. Very nice mid afternoon, when it is a bit quieter and you can really appreciate the ale and the pork and pickle pies. But equally as good when it is busy. A real ale drinker's paradise.

The Cat and Fiddle, Norwich

First pub I ever ventured into in Norwich. It wasn't too bad. I stopped in Norwich for eight more years!!! Beer wasn't too bad either.

The Duke of Connaught, Norwich

Love this pub. So many happy memories as a student, living just around the corner on Grant street. Down there practically every night with housemate. Landlord was brilliant (Paul), the beer excellent, and the atmosphere was great too. Many great nights in here with Paul's special cocktails. Such a shame if this pub were to go!
