The Hand and Heart, Nottingham

Excellent - Very comfortable, good selection of ales and the food looked good too.
The seating in the sandstone caves is very interesting.

Rosie O Briens, Carrington

Now called the New Carrington Inn and has been totally refurbished.
Still has kept much of its character, good beer.

The Robin Hood, Sherwood

Quite a turn around here - very friendly with some excellent ales and food.

Vale Hotel, Woodthorpe

Don't know what the last poster is on about - Seamus hasn't been landlord for a couple of years.

The landlord (Martin?) has been there for about six months and has really smartened up the place and redecorated. A good selection of real ales always on and food is good.

The Southbank Bar, West Bridgford

Class bar, good food and beer. Well worth a visit when in the area.

The Trent Bridge Inn, West Bridgford

Poor advert for the nearby cricket ground, from which this pub takes a lot of its custom.
Very limited but expensive selection of beers and food, poor service. We waited 45 minutes for four meals, and then two of them were wrong. Speaking to people around this is not unusual here.

The Wheelhouse, Wollaton

Very good food and drink. Well worth a visit - handy for Wollaton Park.

The Willoughby Arms, Wollaton

Very loud music, thuggish youths thretaening anyone who comes near 'their' pool table, drinks being passed out to the boy racers in the car park.
This place is the pits.
