the food is microwaved bobbins, served by clueless 12 year olds. it's like a disorganised Wetherspoons

shame as the view of the canal is nice in the summer and unlike the Lime Kilns, doesn't have the roar of the A5 and duck *mess* everywhere

Greyhound Inn, Hinckley

bit rough and ready, but that's part of it's charm

bit place, with a band area at the back. bit of a rockers' pub

for those that know London: it's very Camden !

Beavers Bar, Hinckley

strange pub. the americana is a very unoriginal and unintentionally hilarious

spacious though and nicely off the main road, there's quiet a few boozers at the top of castle street, most are good

last time i went in Beavers, my mate was telling me that the bar maid is bit of a local hero, was on Men & Motors or some such tat...

all in all, ok pub
