Great stop off for trips to Cambridge (I live in London). The new manager Charlotte is really friendly and helpful. Food has always been top notch, and the beer is served at the right temperature - which is my measure of a great pub.

Wow. I never like to go in chain pubs, but you'd never know this is one! The price of the drinks is competitive, and the d�cor and friendliness of the staff is great. A surprising treat.

Food is outstanding. Service is a bit poor - it feels like the staff think they are cooler than you. Drinks are very nice. The price point of the bar is high but the quality and surroundings reflect this (not the service)

Disappointing really. My wife and I have lived near this pub for years and never found the time to go in. We found the service poor, and the drinks expensive. My ale tasted funny, and the spritzer my wife ordered was flat and unappetising. When mentioning this to the bar staff both the bearded guy and the blond lady were unfriendly and looked as though they thought we were lying. Don't visit here unless you don't mind poor service and overpriced drinks.

The Standing Order, Stevenage
Normal Wetherspoons get a 3 from me - so this site does really well to push it up to a five. Service is classic Stevenage (i.e. they don't really care) but the quality of the food and drink at their price point is undeniable. Visit for that quick cheap snack and avoid at weekends.
