The atmosphere isn't very welcoming for outsiders, there is a definate local clientele who dominate the space within the pub! A very male dominated environment!

The Ivanhoe Hotel, Scarborough
The Ivanhoe pub is excellent in almost every way! The service is great, the food taste and proportions are fantastic, the rooms and breakfast service is of a very high standard (in the sense of hygeine and comfort, especially comfort in room 6),and overall hygiene throughout the pub is fantastic. I recommend anyone go there for a night out or a break. I loved it!

Crown and Cushion, York
small and quite nice. staff seem quite polite but sometimes take a long time to get to you as they are chatting among each other.
