The Only Running Footman, Mayfair

Very disapointed, if you only want to have a drink in what is meant to be a pub!! you are forced to take one of the very limited stools around the edge of the room, they definately welcome dinners more here!!

The Kings Arms, Mayfair

Overall pub had nice decor and atmosphere, pint was ok, but staff were a bit rude!

28 Dec 2011 19:06

The Blue Anchor, Reigate

This pub has certainly improved since I last visited, good pint

23 Dec 2009 11:12

The Victoria, Bayswater

This pub has the most amazing interior, good pint etc. but a bit lacking in atmosphere..

23 Dec 2009 11:06

The Yorkshire Grey, Fitzrovia

Went here on a busy Thursday night, had rather a good vibe, and a lot better than the typical commercial london pubs in this area, nice pint and very cheap for centre of london.

23 Dec 2009 11:02

Ship Inn, Fowey

Great pub, great food, pretty good service, best pub in fowey I think!!

11 Oct 2009 10:32

Greyhound Inn, Staple Fitzpaine

really pretty pub both inside and out, good pint although rather strange that its sussex ale in somerset, but very nice. Has more of a hotel feel and prices to match.

26 Sep 2009 10:13

The White Hart, Cheddar

I dont know why this has such a low rating, I would say as a tourist though! this is probably the best pub in cheddar, atmosphere is good, decor is nice and traditional, pints were good, food was good and rather nice and busy.

26 Sep 2009 10:09

The Kings Head, Cheddar

This really is a traditional pub for locals only, but we were made very welcome by the bar staff and it had a rather good atmosphere in the bar, good pint as well.

26 Sep 2009 10:01

The Gardeners Arms, Cheddar

Really nice traditional pub with nice friendly atmosphere, good pint and lady behind bar was polite. Food was home made, although if you cannot order from the bar menu, its more fine dinning than oub food. Its a shame its quite a way from the centre as town, as there was only a couple of us there, so very very quiet.

26 Sep 2009 09:58

The Galleries Inn, Cheddar

Just popped in here for an afternoon pint, sat outside as great spot for people watching, but that really is about it!!

26 Sep 2009 09:53

Bath Arms Hotel, Cheddar

Truly awful if going here as a pub, a bit of a laugh if going here as a hotel for a quick drink. There is a large area where entertainment is provided and also another large bar which completly lacks any traditional pub type character, staff how ever where very polite and quick with service considering the numerous punters!!

26 Sep 2009 09:49

Market Inn, Sandwich

Only had a quick pint here in the afternoon, bar man was friendly, OK pint, but pub really does lack atmosphere.

31 Jul 2009 20:04

The Star, Petworth

Had lunch here, really nice food, good atmosphere and friendly service.

31 Jul 2009 20:01

The Counting House, Bank

We only went to this pub as everywhere was closed for food middle of a Frdiay afternoon, there was a large group of us and the service was great. We sat upstairs in the eating area, and they were really good and friendly, the ceiling is amazing!

23 Jul 2009 16:18

The Cricketers, Brighton

Really liked this place, full of character, bar staff pretty good and a nice pint, good location in lanes as well.

15 Jul 2009 13:45

Ye Olde Watling, Mansion House

What a lovely looking pub inside and out, really good friday afternoon atmosphere, an OK pint, but again as with other london pubs staff rather unfriendly and uninterested!

18 Jun 2009 13:57

Williamson's Tavern, Mansion House

Went here as part of a pub crawl, and the history/ apearance inside was rather nice and traditional, fairly good service and an OK pint, staff as general with a lot of london pubs these days seemed rather uninterested!

18 Jun 2009 13:55

The Black Rabbit, Offham

What an amazing location this pub has, we took an afternoon river boat trip here and cannot really comment on inside the pub as lovely summers day so sat outside all afternoon, but it was great. Whenever we did go to the bar considering it was really busy we always got served rather quickly and staff seemed Ok enough, pint was good, will plan another sunny afternoon here again!

18 Jun 2009 13:50

Ye Olde Six Bells, Horley

Rather a rather nice pub, although it is a chain pub, for very foody. Service is good, food is OK, pub decor etc. rather nice, only real downside is they close rather early/ or very prompt...

20 May 2009 14:07

The Rising Sun, Epsom

Nice little pub, the front bar has stayed nice and traditional more for standing and chating, we had lunch in back of pub which is a bit too gastro pub but nice, excellent sandwhiches and service was very good. would visit again.

20 May 2009 14:03

The Bulls Head, Reigate

Great proper boozer, can get a bit lively on weekend nights, but maintains a friendly vibe, service is OK.

6 Mar 2009 16:48

The Bell, Reigate

I really enjoy this pub it always has a good atmosphere, staff are great, very busy though on weekend nights so you need to be patient for a seat, decoratively its a little bit out of the norm, more like a living room but in a good way.

6 Mar 2009 16:46

The Crown, Harmondsworth

Went here for lunch rather good plenty of food for the money nice friendly atmosphere with good traditional feel.

6 Mar 2009 16:42

The Old Neptune, Whitstable

Went here on a lovely sunny day in feburay at lunch time, what an amazing location right on the beach, service was good considering how busy it was, and seems to have a rustic charm in the bar!

26 Feb 2009 09:44

The Wharf, Dartford

A typical purpose built factory type pub, that said it has a lovely setting by the lake, food and drinks are expensive and staff always seem miserable/ unhelpful, good if you have kids.

24 Dec 2008 11:35

The Bell Inn, Godstone

Is now a real gastro pub, food was rather good and service was good as well, nice for a meal if you want a resturant type affair, but for a pint NO

24 Dec 2008 11:30

The Victory Inn, St Mawes

Really liked this pub we stayed in St Mawes for a few nights and went here every night the staff are great, very friendly and welcoming the food was really good and the atmosphere was great fun, will definatley visit again.

17 Nov 2008 14:21

Rising Sun, St Mawes

Did not like this pub at all, although it does have a good location, other than that no good, unless you want a resturant then would probably suit!

17 Nov 2008 14:18

The Blue Anchor, Helston

Wow certainly interesting! its like a time warp, staff friendly brewery still going which is really nice, lunch was a bit basic.

17 Nov 2008 14:16

The Bath Arms, Brighton

Went to this pub to start my sisters hen night, it was really good, good atmosphere and very buzzy! perfect location and the staff were very friendly, will go again.

17 Nov 2008 14:09

The Spotted Dog, Penshurst

Went here for Friday lunch, which was really nice home made soup and bread, the landlord was rather friendly and the dog was welcome she even got some bits of meat, so must be good, would definatley visit again.
Only one negative which may be a bit unfair as it was a lunch time! but lots of noisy babies in bar area.

17 Nov 2008 14:07

The Jolly Tanners, Staplefield

What a great pub, actually went here to finish off a Sunday out for my sisters hen party unlikley location I know! But they do food Sunday afternoon. It was great ! the staff were very friendly and we were given a great table by the fire, all the locals were friendly as well. Roast was brilliant 7 different veg and home made puddings, could not have asked for a better Sunday afternoon, will definately be going back as often as I can..

17 Nov 2008 14:02

The Lamb and Flag, Covent Garden

Really liked this pub, very traditional including the landlady had a great atmosphere too! worth a visit..

29 Oct 2008 09:24

The Royal Lion Hotel, Lyme Regis

We stayed at the hotel so made good use of the bar, staff friendly did not eat there, always a good pint, for a hotel bar it had rather a nice more pubby feel to it, and nice old woodwork etc..

23 Sep 2008 09:44

The Union Inn, St Ives

Rather like this pub, food was fine, very busy as most pubs are in St Ives, but still maintained a nice pubby feel, rather than just a tourist gastro pub.

22 Sep 2008 16:47

The Sloop Inn, St Ives

Great old pub, Very busy always, but staff handel that well, food was fine, loved the little booth type arrangement in back bar and also children not allowed after 9pm, only one negative is more a tourist pub than a local..

22 Sep 2008 16:44

The Cross Keys, Covent Garden

What a lovely little london boozer, full of character, did not seem to be a tourist trap. Fab will go again.

4 Aug 2008 11:42

The Viaduct Tavern, St Pauls

This pub is fantastic full of character, the bar man took us down to the cellar to show us the old prison its was well worth a visit.
only slight negative was it seemed to lack a bit of atmosphere, may just have been me?

4 Aug 2008 11:32

The Bent Arms, Lindfield

This is such a lovely pub, full of character, really nice, had a sandwhich for lunch, amazing probably the best sandwhich I have ever had! only comment would make is too many children for my liking, but it was a lunch time and does have a hotel attached.

4 Aug 2008 11:25

The White Hart, Chipstead

This many years ago used to be a proper pub! now it is just awful, I think resturants probably have more character, they should have a law to stop this from happening! Terrible..

24 Jul 2008 11:13

The Dolphin, Betchworth

Such a shame, this is a lovely country pub with a great interior and the new managements attitude and poor food are distroying it.

24 Jul 2008 10:43

The Volunteer, Sutton Abinger

This is a fab country pub, beautiful setting, great beer garden, service was great and the food was lovely, rather exepnsive but the portion was large so can share between two!

24 Jul 2008 10:39

The King and Queen, Caterham

This is one of my regular pubs and its a great proper locals boozer, probably the only decent pub in caterham, No food at the moment which is a bit of a shame, and gets really really busy on a Friday night.
Well worth a pint or two..

24 Jul 2008 10:35

The Plough, Earlswood

This is a great proper pub, with a lovely homely feel and decor. the new owners are really trying hard and are rather pleasant. the little pub dog adds to the ambience, its also rather nice that no children are welcome, makes a nice change and something of a haven..

24 Jul 2008 10:24

The Floating Bridge Inn, Dartmouth

I thought this was a lovely pub, really nice food, service was good, fantastic seating outside by the ferry if the weathers good, worth a visit

24 Jul 2008 09:17

The Pilchard Inn, Burgh Island

You cannot beat this place for location, on a summers day outside its brilliant, and a proper traditional pub, just make sure you don't miss the last tractor back to the main land!

24 Jul 2008 09:13

The Ship Inn, Polperro

I really liked this pub, its very tradional and had a good atmosphere, decor is very tatty but maybe part of its charm?

24 Jul 2008 09:03

The Dog and Bull, Croydon

Proper tradiional boozer, great!!

24 Jul 2008 08:58

The Crumplehorn Inn, Polperro

This is a great pub, has live music regularly, service good and nice traditional decor, only problem with this is as its popular some times difficult to get a seat!

24 Jul 2008 08:55

The Queen's Head, Nutfield

This has always been a very foody pub! but seems to be more like a proper pub these days. staff are very efficient, great beer garden, seperate dinning type area if needed, generally worth a pint, but smells a bit odd!

23 Jul 2008 10:08

The Inn On The Pond, Nutfield

The recent refurbishment has made it a very "resturanty" and a bit contemporary for my liking, but there is a small seating area and a couple of open fires, and the staff are really friendly which makes up for it.

23 Jul 2008 10:03

Dog and Duck, Outwood

This is a great summer pub the setting and beer garden are brilliant. It is recently under new ownership, they are trying to improve its decilned in the last couple of years, but really do need to sort the food out, although the stone bake pizzas are lovely.

23 Jul 2008 09:53

The Castle, Outwood

A great pub mainly due to landlord Warwick and it has a good atmosphere. Service is really good, as is the food, although a bit limited if you prefer more traditional fayre. Dogs welcome, worth a visit.

23 Jul 2008 09:44

The Bell Inn, Outwood

This is a lovely pub, I have been using it for many years. Food is expensive but generally rather good, great location, Dogs are really welocme which is great and becoming rare these days, there is a seperate resturant area if needed.

23 Jul 2008 09:34

The William IV, Bletchingley

This is a great little boozer, a rare traditional proper pub. This is my local and its great, now under new management (who is an old time local)they are trying hard to bring it back from the recent bad times. Good pub grub is served, friendly bar service and the locals are not bad either. The garden is currently being restored, and looking rather good, formal dinning room as well, Well worth a try!

21 Jul 2008 11:01

The Fox And Hounds, South Godstone

Great proper country pub, staff are rather good, the menu was a bit fussy for us but the landlady was very good and made us a plain ham sandwhich which was great, lovely pub dog and traditional decor.
Just a bit of heating would have made it even better.

6 Nov 2007 11:26

The Half Moon, Charlwood

What a shame, made a special trip for a friday lunch time drink just based on the lovely external apearance, and what a disapointment inside. It has been totally gutted of any personality even moved table about four times hoping it was just our seating location, thankfully there was a couple of locals at the bar and the service was pretty good.
