Yates Wine Lodge, Blackpool

Very very busy.
A great atmosphere though and really good music. The people were so friendly.
When I visited it was mostly made up of hen and stag parties.
The door staff were very good at stopping trouble before it began.

Tavern, Romford

Has live bands which is something a little different in Romford.
Prices are reasonable.
Atmosphere is friendly.
Not the kind of pub I'd rave about, but i'd say its worth a visit.

The Shannon Centre / O'Conners Bar, Seven Kings

A wee bit on the rough side if I'm honest!
I've never been there when a fight hasn't broken out between the chavs.
Not one i'd recommend.

Plume Of Feathers, Loughton

Quite a nice pub this.
Its got a mix of old clientele and students.
Always a friendly atmosphere.

The Kings Head, Hornchurch

When I visited it was a mixed, friendly crowd.
Prices are a wee bit high i suppose but not quite at break the bank point.

King Harold, Harold Wood

Definately a locals pub. Not being a local - when I visited I wasnt made to feel welcome by the crowd which was mostly made up of older people.
Bit dingy to.

Lord Denman, Dagenham

Great pub to go to if you want to laugh at poor people. its full of them. And I dont mean the nice friendly kind of poor people. I mean, rough, rowdy, criminals.
Went here once and once only. I was offered a computer that still had the school it was stolen from etched in it.
Wont be going back!

The Roundhouse, Becontree

This place has always got at least one broken window. Enough said i think!

Chicago Rock Cafe, Chelmsford

Great place to go. Student nights on tuesdays are always fun. There are always games to play, eg, mud wrestling, rodeo, drinking competitions, etc etc.
Really friendly with dirt cheap drinks.
And the spank man makes an appearance towards the beginning of the evening!

The Orange Tree, Havering Atte Bower

Very pricey for its drinks. Offers a great food menu though.
Its a nice place to pop into in the summer as it has a lovely beer garden.
Nice quiet location.

The Tollgate, Romford

Nice surroundings, with lully sofas to sit on.
Does tend to attract an older crowd in the evenings, the old men with stories of the good old days.
But does get its younger crowd to.
Never very lively though.
Good for a nice quiet drink, with fair prices.

Brannigans, Romford

Great place to go if you're a chav!
If not - steer clear.
There are always kick offs and they're usually really nasty.

The Life Bar, Romford

The music is always good, especially on a saturday.
However, they've obviously never heard of air con as its always so incredibly hot. To the point that if i straighten my curly hair, its wavy and frizzy by the end of the night.
Its quite expensive too, which means it's usually quite poserish. The clientele are the "i love me who do you love type".
None the less its a good night once your hammered and dont care about anything other than a good dance!

The Colley Rowe Inn, Romford

During the day, its not a bad place to be, and with it being a whetherspoons it has a good food menu. However during the evening. What a dive. Its full of drunken old men and poor excuses for women.
On one visit, after an altercation in which the management didnt get involved, a guy returned to the pub with a knife. It took other customers to calm the situation down and send him on his way.
Needless to say, I haven't been back since!

The Bull, Romford

Always busy. recently they've got really hot on i.d to, which isnt a bad thing but my driving licence picture is slightly embarrasing.
Can be extremely chavvy!

Ye Olde White Harte Hotel, Burnham on Crouch

Nice friendly pub and in the summer you get to sit outside by the river. (you can in the winter to but its bloody cold so i wouldnt advise it!)

Edwards, Romford

Always a good atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming doorstaff and the bar staff are always smiling.
The prices are reasonable.
The music is always good, especially on a sunday when DJ Scott Angry Anderson is on the decks.
It does get very busy though.
