The Lord Nelson, Brighton

Lovely pub, especially when Graham and Ros are on duty! One of the last proper pubs left in the area - love it!

the pub has indeed changed hands and although the beer is the same and the locals are the same, the gorgeous restaurant and value for money food has fallen by the way-side. Such a shame. Worth going for a drink and a laugh but don't expect value for money. Will need to improve to be in the running for any more awards.

The Cock Inn, Ringmer

This is a very lovely family run pub with excellent service. Its busy as its so nice but there is plenty of space so dont be afraid to look around for a table in the restaurant that seems to go on forever or in the cosy snug or the pretty garden.

Our food was wonderful, cannot fault anything!

Shuts at 3pm except Sundays so don't be caught out and miss out on a lovely meal!!

Love this pub!
Food is lovely - a real treat and definitely worth every penny. Staff are friendly and funny.
Bar billiards, darts, etc.

The Royal Oak, Brighton

Great all day round pub - a proper pub in a sea of silly trendy bars. Nice mix of sports chilled and atmosphere (although the music can be a bit too loud to chat over).
They have their own registered charity operating in the pub which raises loads of money for local children's causes and provides very good entertainment when the guys get together and organise an event. Their music-fest in may last year was excellent fun!
