The Bridge Inn, Sale

Great pub. Great staff now that service with a scowl is gone (dark haired with bad teeth) and her click. GPM I heard. Surprise. Surprise. Nine years of getting away it. Fair play to the new management. Hope they make.a go of it. And a paddy to boot. Best of luck to him/her and family

The Brook, Sale

What a great little pub this truly is. Dave does a fantastic job. Especially with having a great beer offer and no food to speak of. One of my Sale favourites.
I feel really sorry for him because of his motor mouth old man Ron and god bless Rons mrs. She must be tired of hearing stories about the dark haired demented one and Rappelina Tweezelbub Earnshaw. Embarrassing or what. Total CRINGE factor

Ned Kellys, Liverpool

Its a pity - I was there August 2009 for the Beatles weekend and they had a Mild and a Bitter, (think it was Cains). Real good buzz about the place. Lots of colourful characters. Think they changed the name to Rubens - I believe. For a city centre pub it should have been busier though. I think Punch Taverns are the landlords and to be fair that in itself is a death sentence to any pub
