The Lot, Richmond

I worked here when it first opened and it wasn't bad then. Lots of us american students throwing cash about, but it was fun and laid back. From what I've read on here though, sounds like its gotten a bad reputation. Sad.

Robin Hood Pub and Restaurant, Van Nuys

It's a little to family friendly for me, but it's a nice place to meet ex-pats of a number of countries. Sunday roast is pretty good. You can always find someone to strike up a conversation with here. Friar Tuck Shoppe is convenient for your custard purchasing.

The Fox and Hounds, Studio City

Good, fun pub. Food is not bad. Very friendly staff ;)
Need to lose that $20 cover charge for matches though.

The Cat N' Fiddle, Los Angeles

The garden might not be very English but it is lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food's only ok. Have yet to see Morrissey...
