I love this pub.
Amazing food, welcoming staff and hotel rooms well kept. Would recommend this pub over and over again

The Partridge, Partridge Green

Having recently moved to the village and heard stories about this pub, i decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it, and I have to say I wished i had not bothered.

First couple of experiences not much to report, tried to visit the pub at 8pm on a Saturday and the pub was closed! What I find hard to believe is that the village is circulated around this pub and yet on a Friday night on may last visit there was 6 people in the pub and that included the landlord, landlady and the two of us.

Only two occasions when I met the landlady, i found her to be unapproachable.

On a positive it is nicely decorated.

Windmill Inn, Partridge Green

What a fantastic local country pub.
Having recently moved to the village and heard stories about both pubs in the village, i decided to give them both a try and the Windmill did not disappoint.

Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, good homecooked specials, friendly locals. I have not had a bad evening in this pub, always made to feel welcome.

What amazed me was for such a small village, they currently have 3 dart teams, 3 bar billiard teams, a golf society and other events organised by the staff on a regular basis.

It was one of my hardest decisions to move out of city life into a quiet village, but i have to say that the locals and staff at the Windmill, have at least made getting a pint more enjoyable.
