Went here on Saturday night the bar not the restaurant). It was literally heaving with people, and we must have waited at least 10 - 15 minutes to get served.
However the beer was nice, and when we sat down the guys sitting next to us turned out to be a right laugh! We talked to them for most of the evening, and if they are typical of the sort of people who frequent Sankey's then I would definately recomend it!

I can't see what all the hype is about.
Unless you get there early, you may well find yourself having to stand up most of the evening, as tables are lacking.
Cheap though!

FULL OF SLAGS. And quite expensive too. Most people from my work go there on nights out though, so i get dragged into coming anyway!
Bouncers seem ok to me, but I have only been there a couple of times.

The Foresters Arms, Tunbridge Wells
This place is awful.
Full of locals, it is ridiculously small and has terrible furnishings.
I went in there with a mate once, and ordered a couple of drinks before looking around. When we actually realised how s**t it is, we had to a couple of full pints in front of us so we had to stay!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

A very nice place for a quiet drink or two.
Bar staff are friendly.
