The Reef Bar, Waterloo

As railway station pubss go this is one of the better ones. Nice bright and open - good balcony overlooking the concourse. Beers are ok and not too pricey. If you just need somewhere to kill time waiting for a train - or an easy to find meeting place, this is ideal.

De Hems, Soho

Nice enough bar - Oranjeboom on tap - decent staff.

Essence, Kingston

What a sh1thole. No trainers if your a bloke, but if your dressed like a hooker you're fine (including nuns outfits etc). No chairs to sit down except for the VIP area - not a VIP to be seen just some chavs who'd managed to phone up and book it. Moody bouncers, snotty bar staff, sh1te music.

The Askew Arms, Shepherds Bush

Not a bad place - bright, clean. Good pizzas. Friendly Staff.

Bradleys, Fitzrovia

Cracking Pub. Great central location, Becks AND Budvar on tap, good crowd. The basement bar is the best, dark, dingy and full of atmosphere. Probably the best jukebox in London (old school, none of your internet mullarky and a small but quality selection of tracks). The gents STINK! - but hey - its a pub, get over it.

Clerkenwell House, Farringdon

Never saw the place before the referb so cannot comment on that. Decent service - Pilsner Urquell on tap, comfy sofas etc. Pool tables downstairs. Fairly modern, yuppy feel to the place - but if that's what you're into you should like it.

The Cocoanut, Kingston Upon Thames

The best pub in Kingston by a long way. Table football, pool table, decent music, friendly service, quality beer garden and a really decent mix of people. Not the normal alocpop fuelled saturday night chav-fest you can expect in most other central Kingston bars.
