The Foresters Arms, Graffham

We really liked this pub. We were staying at the campsite about 0.5 miles away, and went there for dinner on the Friday night. Staff were very helpful and we have some good ale, and chose the 'credit crunch' menu which was two courses for something like 11 pounds or 3 for 15. The food was fantastic, and we liked it so much we went back for another similarly good meal on the Sat night.

The Queens Head and Artichoke, Regents Park

In many ways this is a lovely pub - it manages to look cool but traditional at the same time. The food is excellent. The service however, particularly at busy times, is not so good. So one for the daytime.

The Earl of Lonsdale, Notting Hill

Lovely pub, great beer garden and really nice back room, cheap, quiet, classy, excellent for a quality night out before going home for a sing-song.
