The Stag and Hounds, South Croydon

we quite liked this place. Small but staff and customers were all really friendly. Stayed for a few and had a good laugh. Nice place to start before a night on the town

Me and the girls went for a late night drink (costs five pounds to get in though which is a bit steep)but we had a reasonably good time. Comfy seats but be warned the service is very slow and the toilets are very poor. Would go back to try the advertised Thai food.

The Croham Arms, South Croydon

nice pub, it seemed reasonably friendly. We had a quick drink here but the clientele is a bit old to stay too long.

my girlfriends and I had a great night out in here. All the staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was lively but relaxed, which is unusual for a pub this big. Didnt really see the chavs mentioned by other people. Only criticism - more toilet paper in the toilets please! Would highly recommend
