The Berney Arms Inn, Berney Arms
Very unusual pub stuck in the middle of nowhere. Worth going to once simply because the location is so strange. A bit tatty - perhaps they could spend some time in the winter doing it up. Pleasant enough landlady who sounds as though she comes from Birmingham originally.
Decent beers including Sharpie and Trawlerboy. Average pub food - burgers, scampi etc. Service OK.

Now renamed 'Fat Cat and Canary'. Well refurbished. Typical Fat Cat-style pub. Wide choice of excellent beers. Will be very popular with football fans during the season.

The Reindeer Pub & Kitchen, Norwich
Went there this evening. Now a pub bistro type of place. Well-kept Wherry.
25 people in there mostly younger types. The landlords might have found the right formula for the Reindeer at last.

Excellent pub. Good range of ales.
Lovely garden. Perfect for a summer's evening.

Above average Norwich back street pub. Decent real ales. Very friendly.

Not bad. Cosy. Nice warm fire. Absence of music and games machines everywhere - always a plus point for me.
Problem is the beer - Greene King - OK I suppose in small doses but some decent real ales would be nice.

Above average Norwich back-street pub.
Good choice of food and some decent beer.
Too noisy for my liking.
Not allowed to drink outside so a minus if you want to drink and smoke.

Now called "Speakies".
More like a village hall than a pub.
One step up from drinking White Lightning on the street.

Definitely worth a visit.
Decent real ales.

The Plough used to be horrible but Grain brewery has done it up nicely.
Excellent back garden for a city centre pub.
Very nice beer.
Thoroughly recommended.
