The Horseshoe inn, Ebbesbourne Wake

This is one of the best pubs I have ever had the pleasure to visit. Five perfectly kept beers and wonderful food. Dont tell too many people about it!

The Wheatsheaf, Shedfield

What i dont understand is all these fantastic reviews add up to only 7.2 on the national scale. People must be voting without leaving comments. This site should not be wide open to abuse from people who don't even visit the pub they are rating!

There are'nt many left like this .A stillage of 12 firkins behind the bar for all to see. The beer here is fantastic, and so is the cajun chicken. You would be mad to miss it. Bring your dog. Great atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome.

This has been a lovely country pub for years and I'm glad to say its one of hampshires little gems. Andy has resurrected this wonderful pub. Give it a go!

The Hampshire Bowman, Dundridge

After a 3 mile walk with dogs, I was exceedingly disappointed with both the quality of the the beer and the service! Both were awful! The beer was cloudy, flat and too warm, and the bar staff were so disinterested and slow that each time we wanted a drink, we waited for 10 minutes plus!!!!

Go back? probably not until someone in charge recognizes that Good beer and Good service are paramount!!!

sort the drains out you smelly people, not to mention the flat old beer, teach the barstaff to pour a proper pint, and where's your smoking shelter???!!!!!
