The Duke of Devonshire, Balham
Perhaps my favourite pub in London. Beautiful Victorian grandeur. Great mirrors and wonderful lighting. Great day or night.

My second favorite pub in the area to the Duke of Cumberland. Real feel to the pub among the plastic trendy bars of 'Clarm'. Good food too, they even let me bring my own gravy powder and made me up a vegetarian one.

Got lots of good memories of this place. Long Saturday afternoons idled away. Gets busy in the evenings.

Was my local from 2001 - 2003. Great place to relax with a pint and the paper. Used to show old Bnw films in the garden in summertime. Will deffinately go back next time I'm in the stowe.

The Brunswick Hotel, Bournemouth
Much improved since new management. Staff far more polite too.

Really gone down hill lately. You wait an eternity to be served by an uninterested and rude youngster. Beer is ridiculously expensive �3.50 for a bottle of Magners! Shame used to be a great pub.

The Pig And Whistle, Bournemouth
Really great little pub. The food is on another level to most pub food, and the eating area has a really warm atmosphere. Friendly staff and real ales. Deffinately worth checking out if you don't want the same old hen/stag type bars in the town centre.

The Ferryboat Inn, Tottenham Hale
Bit of a walk from Blackhorse Rd Tube. A country style pub in the city. Food ok when I was last there. Nice garden to write lyrics in. There was a stunning waitress there in 2002.
