The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest

Terrible food, the worst I've had in a while. Found it very bland and tastleless. Staff seemed nice and helpful but you certainly couldn't justify the cost! Much better food available in the area.

The Stag on the River, Eashing

Have been down here a few times for a drink but probably won't bother going back.... Always really quiet and has a funny awkward atmosphere. Shame as it is in a lovely location. May try it once more in the summer.

Borelli's Cafe Bar and Restaurant, Farnham

Go here a fair bit to eat during the week. Nice atmosphere. Food is definately good value for money...very big portions. Service has always been good and the white wine is always super chilled....lovely.

Jack George Phillips, Godalming

The service is soooo slow and at lunchtimes you generally have to clear you own table if you want to sit down. Everything happens in slow mo....walking, talking etc but they are friendly. I've seen the food, just not been brave enough to try it.

The Good Intent, Puttenham

Excellent cosy village pub where the staff make you feel right at home. Lovely atmosphere and agree with a previous comment that said 'full of people doing what pubs were meant for: drinking, eating, talking, and in general having a good time'.
Always look forward to a visit here, I wish there were more pubs like this one.

The Squirrel at Hurtmore, Hurtmore

Nice cosy pub, can relax on the nice comfy sofa with a glass of wine or two. Have eaten there once in the evening but wasn't that impressed. Do nice sarnies and food at lunch time though. Agree that the staff are easy to confuse, overall not a bad place.

The Cyder House Inn, Shackleford

What is going on with this pub? Called in here last Friday as we heard that there has been another change of landlord. The decor is all over the place...old flowery pub carpet, completely contrasting bold black and white curtains, bare magnolia walls!! One part of the bar looks like a hotel reception!! Shame as a few years back you couldn't of wished for a nicer, more homely place to spend an evening. What a shame.

The Donkey, Tilford

I love this pub and the food is excellent. The best place in the area to go for a proper sunday roast (make sure you book). The people who run this place are great along with the service. 10/10 for me.
