The Queens Head, Lichfield

Have visited this pub on a number of occassions and found it to be enjoyable. The food selection is very good, especially for vegetarians, and they have a good selection of cheese and pate. However on my last visit in which i atteneded with my father, our partners and cousin the landlady was extremely rude, and got her locals involved to speak to ourselves. We were sitting chatting and found this a complete shock, this was smoothed over by my father after he advised that we were out as my nan had just passed, but no apology was forthcoming from the landlady. I would not visit this outlet again out of principle, but believe that without this misshap this was a good pub.

The Drill, Burntwood

This is a nice quiet local pub, that does good deals on food. Has improved with new owners, and does some good entertainment nights.

Elms Inn, Burton-Upon-Trent

Visited this pub early saturday afternoon and found this a nice quiet pub with big leather settees, which was nice for a chill out. Only stayed for the one because the atmosphere became a bit to sedate for my tatse. A good pub for a relaxed beer with family, but wouldn't rush back when on a big day out.

The Coopers Tavern, Burton-Upon-Trent

Arguably the best pub i have visited. In The day this pub is warm and welcoming with the fire literally spluttering out coal, and the atmosphere calm and welcoming, yet go in a few hours later and this place is buzzing. The locals are very friendly and the staff are more than willing to discuss the big variety of ales and ciders which brilliant. We ended up discovering an amazing cider at 8%, can't quite remeber the name now, wonder why!! A brilliant puba t any time of the day, and they do cartons of ales to take away, which is handy with a curry house next door. Would recommend this to everyone.

Derby Inn, Burton-Upon-Trent

This is a one of a kind pub, visited this with my dad the other week for the first time and i must say me and my friends were suitably impressed. If your are looking for an authentic old real mans pub then this is it. Pork pie and cheese on the counter, racing on the telly and the best pint of Pedigree you will find. An experience you wont forget. I didn't think i would be able to drag my partner away!

Great pub with friendly atmosphere and great ales. Will go later in the day next time we visit this and it has live music and great entertainment. Well worth a visit.

The Burton Bridge Inn, Burton-Upon-Trent

The beer in this pub is very nice, but it was let doen by the cold reception we recieved upon visiting this pub a coulpe of weeks ago. The gentleman serving was unfriendly and obviously did not appreciate younger people in his pub. It so unwelcoming that in the end we drank our pint outside and then moved on. I woud not return to this pub again, put am sure that if you are of a more mature age the experience here would be very different. Dissapointing as we were out to taste some fine ales.
