Ye Olde Swan Inn, Thames Ditton

It's interesting reading the food reviews here

I went in a few days ago to sample the food myself and I have to say I'm in total agreement with all the comments below. It's simple awful.. and this is a real shame

The New Inn, Thames Ditton

Chelsea Youth Firm goes there....mmm i wonder what sort of pub this is???

No doubt he arrives in his chelsea chariot to swallow a few pints with his working class mates.

The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton

Nice venue with an interesting mixture of characters inside.... it all seems to work well

Gordon Bennnett bar + kitchen, Surbiton

Run by Mr Grumpy, but It is a nice place for food and drink

Ye Olde Swan Inn, Thames Ditton

I like... but why is the food so continually awful

The New Inn, Thames Ditton

Looks like the druggies from the Plough have started to move in this direction, so I hope the landlord puts a stop to this very quickly.

Gordon Bennnett bar + kitchen, Surbiton

think I might be one of the old farts....

The Anglers, Teddington

Great for doing invisible man impersonations at the bar.....

11 Aug 2007 18:06

The Albany, Thames Ditton

Tried it last Sunday with a small group of friends and came exceptionally disappointed....it was just very poor

11 Aug 2007 18:03

The Crown, Thames Ditton

Always seems very dead to me.....if you don't count the seriously loud music. Why oh why do landlords feel the need to do this?

Ye Olde Swan Inn, Thames Ditton

Nice place, friendly staff and great location.....but I always feel really disappointed by the food

The New Inn, Thames Ditton

Hey, it's Bob the builder's local.

11 Aug 2007 17:50

The Ram, Kingston Upon Thames

Exceptionally poor service......and what is that dreadful smell?

3 Jun 2007 10:51

The Lamb, Surbiton

Sometimes seems a little quiet, but this really is a great little pub with a charming couple in charge.

The Prince of Wales, Wimbledon

Seems to be a certain yob element hanging around outside these days....but maybe that's reflective of Wimbledon in general.

Not a bad bar, although they have a habit of trying to deafen you with loud music. Whatever happened to the local you could happily catch up with friends in and have a good old banter....without having to constantly shout to be heard. Ah, the joys of old age

The New Inn, Ham

I often wander in on a saturday afternoon and have always found it to be an incredibly friendly place.... with perhaps the finest looking barmaid in the whole of Surrey behind the bar.

Oh, to be ten years' younger and a little leaner

6 Aug 2006 11:27

The Queens Head, Kingston Upon Thames

I quiet like the place, although it always seems a little too quiet on occasion

6 Aug 2006 11:23

The Victoria, Surbiton

Tried the food once again.....and I have to say it was bloody awful.

However, this is a still a nice venue for a drink

The Norbiton and Dragon, Norbiton

It's a real shame to see this place fall into decline.

Paid a visit to the place last week, only to discover its become a chavs 'R' Us venue.

When you see the male clientale passed out on the sofas, or wandering around minus T-Shirts inside the bar area and every other word screamed in the garden is of the four-letter variety.....you have to ask yourself what has happened to the place.

7 Jul 2006 14:04

The Ram, Kingston Upon Thames

Why does this pub smell so badly......there's a constant smell of sick next to the main entrance

14 May 2006 10:21

The Norbiton and Dragon, Norbiton

Popped in for a midweek drink for the first time in months and the place did seem to be slightly better than on my previous visit. Although, I really wish they'd dump the TV screens and odd bouts of loud music.....

14 May 2006 10:15

The Canbury Arms, Kingston Upon Thames

I must be lucky, as its been brat free on most occasions I've been there. Totally agree on the pricing policy....had a little bit of shock when two drinks came to over 9 quid

14 May 2006 10:10

The Swan Tavern, West Wimbledon

Had a enjoyable evening there...pleasant staff, beer and for once no intrusive music.

But what is that building next door?

14 May 2006 10:05

The Coronation Hall, Surbiton

Little bit like watching the local wildlife in full techicolour......full of LA women, jailbait, Surbiton pensioners and missing links

Bloody brilliant

9 May 2006 21:03

Duke of York, Surbiton

Strange place.....loud music, poorly kept beers and rarely souless

9 May 2006 21:00

Rubicon Bar, Surbiton

Everything about this place says I shouldn't like it...but I do. Only downside is it gets a little too crowded and uncomfortable

9 May 2006 20:58

The Victoria, Surbiton

Not a bad pub, although the food is a little on the mean and sloppy side.

9 May 2006 20:56

The Prince of Wales, Wimbledon

Had a refurb....but I wasn't quite sure if that meant someone just hoovered the place?

9 May 2006 20:54

All Bar One, Wimbledon

Obnoxious staff....with an appalling attitude towards customers nearer closing time. Shocking place

9 May 2006 20:51

No.88 Bar and Grill, Kingston Upon Thames

Having read the latest reviews and been promised that the moody duo have moved on....I shall now get my butt back down there to investigate

9 May 2006 20:45

The Rose and Crown, Wimbledon Village

An enjoyable pub, although the high percentage of public schools types can be a little tiresome at times...you'd think mummy would make them frequent somewhere else.

14 Jan 2006 19:25

Jim Thompson's, Wimbledon

Sorry, little bit of a cattle market....but some of the cattle are quite nice

14 Jan 2006 19:13

Foresters, Hampton Wick

Really, very very good...and far superior to any of the bland drinking holes in Kingston town centre

14 Jan 2006 19:05

No.88 Bar and Grill, Kingston Upon Thames

Good place on Friday night and the occasion Saturday, but wander down on a Sunday and you'll be come across the most consistently miserable bar staff ever seen..... serving perhaps, the worst Sunday lunch I've ever experience

14 Jan 2006 18:59

The Norbiton and Dragon, Norbiton

Long past its halcolyn days...and did go steadily downhill for awhile with a half-arsed refurb and a boorish cliental prone to grunting and growling whilst practicing the art of conversation

But does seem to be gradually improving, so I shall keep my fingers crossed
