O'Neill's, Beckenham

The same as with most pubs in Beckenham, lovely any time you go apart from Friday and Saturday nights. Good value food, decent drinks and a nice atmosphere.

The William IV, Elmers End

I felt threatened from the minute I walked in, terrible. Signs on the bathroom saying police are aware of drug dealing on the premises. Definitely one to avoid.

The Goose, Beckenham

So long as you avoid Fridays and Saturdays like the plague then this is a fine pub. It's nothing special but the price is so low you don't expect it to be.

The Cock, Oxford Circus

Great both upstairs and downstairs. Sometimes very busy (but only as busy as all pubs around here) and pints for �1.99. The clients are usually people who work in the area or live in london rather than tourists.

They definitely have some bottled beers as I had some.

Ben Crouch's Tavern, Fitzrovia

I love this place. The clients used to match the decor exactly but its creepy style seems to have worn off slightly. Its still a great place with lovely staff.

The Fellowship Inn, Catford

I went in here once just after I moved to catford and was young and stupid, never again. If looks could kill I would have been vaporised. The other post has it on the ball. Unless you think the only problem with the nazis was that they weren't from catford then STAY AWAY!

friendly, snuff!, reasonable price, (sometimes loud) but good music. Great place.

The Shipwrights Arms, London Bridge

I have been here twice. I found it enjoyable on both occasions. It has a good atmosphere. The Landlady would definitely not tolerate any illegal activities (like drug dealing as mentioned earlier). It is in a good location and a good place to go for a chinwag with a friend.
