Attracts what would once have been called yuppies. But to be fair the pub has a nice sociable up-market feel to it which deters the barely-legal-aged drinkers. Thinks of itself as a Worcester 'gastropub' and, in my opinion the food's not bad. Pricey for what you get but at least the quality's OK.
The wine, however, IS pricey. Too damn pricey in my opinion. But they seem to employ quite a few short-skirted staff which helps compensate for the over-priced wine.

A bit chavvy - if indeed there are such things as 'chavs' in Worcester - but at least I've never seen any 'aggro' there. However the average drinker's age can't be much above 18... but then there's a school and colllege just down the road. Go figure. Beer garden outside has recently developed a tendency to attract cars which leave the A44 and plough through the fence.

The Malvern Hills Hotel, Great Malvern
It wouldn't be fair of me to rate the pub as I haven't had a drink there for over five years. However they serve an excellent (if a little pricey) breakfast so you can sometimes find the wife and I there Sunday morning eitehr before or after taking the dogs for a walk on the Malverns.

The Coventry Arms, Upton Snodsbury
Try as I might I can't find anything good to say. Wife and I went once and it was pretty poor, but as all the "blurb" says how good the place is we thought maybe we had just caught them on a bad day. So we went a second time. It was even worse. The food is desperately average, the service poor, the owners arrogant. Oh, and if you think they have made a mistake on the bil my advice is not to query it or complain. They are quite happy to have a face-to-face argument about it in front of all the other customers.....
