This is a great pub for real beer (both lager and ale), with none of the usual commercial rubbish. The pub is small but this contributes to the great atmosphere.

This is one of the better pubs in Windsor, the food is good and they still have the open fire in the winter. Whenever theres a big match on the TV the atmosphere is good particularly with Rugby internationals.
Also has a "garden" over looked by the castle.

The Carpenters always has a good selection of real ales and depite the location near the Castle is not overrun by tourists.

The Vine, Tarring
Although not quite as good as it used to be this is a good pub with character. The range of ales is good and my wife enjoys the selection of Gales wines.
