The Pig and Whistle, Earlsfield

I go to the P&W reasonably regularily and I have never seen this now infamous pyjama man! The clientelle are by no means rough looking either generally speaking so I suspect that their has been a change of ownership. Nice pub for a quiet drink.

Bar 366, Earlsfield

Beer is a tad on the expensive side but that said the staff are generous with the free bar snacks. The garden is a bit gawdily furnished but the inside does make up for it by being quite slick. I have been in here on alternative week day evenings and found it jammed or empty for seemingly no apparent reason. Overall a very good place to stop for a drink on the way home from work if you are coming out of earlsfield station.

GJ's, Earlsfield

Lets clear this up a little shall we. Its a busy place. If you arrive in large groups (being really pissed and loud does not help either) you are unlikely to get in. Be polite, and the scotish doorman is actually quite a nice chap. That said once inside, I have to say, have these guys ever heard of fire regulations? the place is allowed to get so packed people can hardly move around, never mind breathe.
On the other hand its got a kinda laid back atmostphere during the day, and the food is decent

The Puzzle, Earlsfield

Some of the critism of this pub I must say is a bit overwrath. Yes the place is a bit heavy on South Africans, if that offends you go and drink in the rose and crown or some such. Some of the barstaff ARE quite decent thou admitedly about 50% of said staff are not just inept, also down right rude. However the vibe is generally pretty decent, and the huge beer garden which is open all evening (its heated) lends a nice change of atmostphere

Tir Na Nog, Wandsworth

Decent family run pub. The clientelle are a bit eccentric but the atmostphere is not at all threatening, so I think "TheWizard"s comment is a little out of line. Basically if you want to know what a pub in the west of ireland is like, this is a good bet. Also you will get to hear that sweet mangled thing that is a london irish accent.
