visited this pub last week,found the staff friendly, food good ,beer excellent.Seems a nice friendly pub with plenty of character.

great range of beers and spirits.Very good and pleasant staff and good service.Five screens and a good coverage of live sports.I am surprised it is not busier during the day,on the other hand there must be ten pubs in the small area and they all seem empty during the day.By the way an excellent cellar.

The pub seems to be getting busier but still cheaper than the local rivals .A very busy mothering sunday.I dought if you could have fitted more diners into the pub.Not so busy during the day on paddys day but plenty of goodies on offer.Thanks Tracey and the staff for making my visits pleasurable. I have also been on Wetherspoons main site voicing my appreciation.

dear monkey. How can you blame any person personaly for your suggested demise of the pub.Have you asked the manager about witherspoons policy on running the pub. This tuesday 12th feb you can ask all the questions you want at 6.30pm at the meeting.Are you brave enough?Please do not be personal on this site.

100% in agreement with "macdonald"Bar these travellers and dont have a duty manager send a young untrained barman to do your dirty work.I was in the pub when he got his head cut open.by this nutter wielding a chair.It must be said that the barman was completely devoid of tact in his dealing with this mad mick but everyone in the bar could see it coming.Was the manager looking through rose coloured glasses.
