Shaker and Company, Euston

Went to a party here on Sat night. By 10pm they were out of all draught lager & beer, by 11pm the bottles had run out too. Crap.

The Landor, Clapham

This used to be my local and I loved it so. I have now found an even better local but this remains my second favourite pub in London.

I had many a great evening (and afternoon) in here and the Sunday roast is fab.

The Camden Head, Islington

Realy disappointed to find that the jukebox has been taken out. Dreadful ladies toilets too, in the damp cellar.

Otherwise not a bad pub for a few pints after work.

The Nags Head, Islington

Dingy, poorly laid out and really really dull. To make matters worse there always seems to be a large group of drunk, noisy idiots in one corner.

The staff are friendly though.

The Old Parrs Head, Islington

Open late and free to get in, usually with a reasonable DJ playing poppy music rather than dance.

Clientele always a little strange (Essex girls up in town, middle aged couples, geeks and shady characters) but generally fun, in a no-frills kind of way.

The Florence Tavern, Islington

I like this place - the food is great and it's a good compromise between pub and poncey bar.

I particularly like the twinkly lights...but then I am a girl.

The Harringay Arms, Crouch End

My favourite pub in London and, indeed, the world. Scruffy, smoky, a little bit grubby, but altogether fab.
