Simply dreadful. Didn't eat but saw other people's faces when their food came out. Staff surly, beer cloudy. Whole place seems to say 'decay' - peeling pub sign, rotten garden furniture. Used to be so good - seems to have changed places with the Harriers at Hambleton just over the hill - was apalling, now great.

What a lot of fuss. Yes, it is more restaurant than pub but they have a few decent ales and it's a pleasant environment. The unrealistic views of some on this page suggest they'd sooner see it closed down. If I have anyting negative to say, it's simply that the garden is a bit blighted by noise from the A3.

The Merry Harriers, Hambledon
Lovely buzzing country pub with five crystal clear ales, great food, friendly service and two fires. Couldn't ask for more.
