This was a great local under Steve Greatorex. The refurbishment has turned this into much more of studenty pub. If you like that kind of thing it's fine.

The Rose of England, Nottingham
This pub is a masterclass in how to turn a once decent pub into a smelly, dirty tip.
Half the pumps are off, the heating doesn't work and the landlord seems to think that working lightbulbs are an optional extra.
Avoid until there is new management.
