The Flowerpots Inn, Cheriton

Excellent range of Flowerpots beers all superbly kept; hardly surprising as the brewery is across the car park. Prices are very reasonable; where else in Hampshire can you get a great bitter for £3 in a convivial and relaxed setting.

The Wykeham Arms, Winchester

It certainly is a great pub, atmospheric, relaxed with the full Fullers range and some guests. Always well kept. Prices are high however, even for Winchester. Paid £10.70 for a pint of Goodens Gold, a G & T and a bag of crisps.

The Barley Mow Inn, Kirk Ireton

One of the truly fantastic pubs of England (at least in my experience) great beer choice in a friendly environment. No pumps, no lager, no machines and no phone reception! Enjoy!

The White Buck, Burley

Gales HSB very good - well kept.

Strangely, kitchen was closed at 2pm (Saturday)so we missed the food - looked like lots of others arrived in anticipation of a meal but were disappointed. Staff did not appear to be all that interested, good location - probably do not have to try very hard as a result.

The Crown, Axford

Visited twice recently - superb experiences both times. The food is excellent - home cooked, good menu, staff are very friendly and relaxed. London Pride and Youngs available and both very well kept.

The sort of pub that you dream about but very rarely find.
