Joes Bar and Restaurant, Hampton Hill

It has been a while since I last had a chance to visit La Familia, but last saturday night I had dinner there with my wife and two other guests, the service was outstanding and the food was great, I had the Dover Sole for main and the mussels in cream and onion sauce for starters. I totally agree with the last comments this is not a pub, but a well stablished, high class rerstaurant that was very much needed here in Hampton Hill, for some of us a bit of class is necessary and there was nothing in Hampton that provided high quality food, with great service and wonderful atmosphere. The place was super busy last saturday, with not a sigle table available, I am glad I had made a reservation, surely they are doing something right.

I am more of a restaurant critic, which is why I think La Familia should not be on this website, they are no longer a Pub, but they are a great restaurant which is why a truly defend their establishment. The Roebuck in Teddington is a good Pub for a quiet drink and the staff is friendly and polite.

In regards to the comments made by the Highstreetdrinker I believe these to be completely inaccurate. I have been dining at La Familia now for several months and I have never had anything bad to say about their food. In fact I recently invited some friends for a dinner there and one of the guests suffers from all sorts of food allergies, La Familia was able to prepare a starter and a main course to my friends taste without certain ingredients as all their food in prepared inhouse, she was delighted to have such wonderful meal catered just for her. So to all great food lover ( with or without food tolerance ) ignore these malitious comments and Do enjoy great food and atmosphere at La Familia.

I have to agree with the last statement, I was recently invited to dinner at La Familia and we had the most enjoyable evening. We had tapas for starters and I personally loved the seabass. The place was busy enough on a weds night. We did not try the cocktails but enjoyed a great bottle of rioja at a very reasonable price. The waitressses were very curtious and professional. I live locally and I am sure to recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. It should be said that this is a restaurant and Not a pub!!! Joe's has gone and La Familia has certainly made an impression.
