Tir Na Nog, Wandsworth

I only go here to watch Irish football matches but get increasingly annoyed by something every time I go. Usually its the crap service but last time I went to watch Ireland play Cyprus they surpassed themselves. For some reason they were showing some Saffa rugby match and the place was full of saffas. Isn't this meant to be an Irish pub? I don't blame the Saffas but what are the staff up to here? Ended up missing the first 20 minutes. Turns out they probably did me a favour as we got kebabbed 5-2.

The Park Tavern, Southfields

Heard this place used to be full of chavs so had previously avoided it but someone told me it had been done up so I went here a couple of months ago with a bunch of mates. We loved it. Have been back a few times since. All the staff were friendly and even helped carry large orders to our table. Food is a bit pricey but I'd rather pay a bit extra for something decent. Good beer garden but probably a little cold now. Well worth a visit.

The Dukes Head, Putney

Great pub. I've always found the staff friendly and the beer and food are good. Ok, its a bit pricy but its worth it. Also it has good table footie.
I've not noticed the hordes of antipodeans that some have mentioned.

Zulus, Putney Bridge

Went a couple of weeks ago on a Friday. Place was full of safas. Drinks were cheap enough and the Hoegaarden was reasonable. Probably best avoided though unless you are a snakebite swilling safa.
