The Fountains Abbey, Paddington

This is an ok pub, gets very busy with a mix of hospital staff, commuters, tourists staying in the area and some locals. Reasonably priced food and a good place to meet if you are going to or coming from Paddington station

Windsor Castle, Marylebone

Lovely little pub - little being the word!

The Square Bar, Dungannon

Great wee pub for a few pints, friendly locals, helpful staff, good beer. Theydon't serve food and it is a little dark but worth a visit if passing through.

The Dickens Tavern, Paddington

I think this pub must have changed since the last review, I found the staff helpful and professional, the Guinness was fine and the food reasonable. The background music was at a reasonable level and the place - including the toilets - was very clean.
Overall a decent experience!

The Northern Whig, Belfast

Lovely place, great food at reasonable prices, very friendly staff. Worth visiting just to see the revolutionary statues brought over from Russia!

Madden's Bar, Belfast

Great bar, friendly locals and even friendlier staff. Don't be put off if the door appears to be locked, just ring the bell and you will be let in as soon as the staff decide you aren't wearing a uniform of the crown!
Definitely worth a vist

The Chapel, Marylebone

Used to be known as The Pontefract Castle, nice pub with a great beer garden for this part of Central London. Get's very busy with local office workers early evening but generally a pleasant place for a pint, and a convenient meeting place if using Edgware Road Hammersmith and City tube station.

Metropolitan Bar, Baker Street

This is a really lovely big pub, certainly better than your average Wetherspoons. Been here several times both for breakfast and Sunday lunch and I can't fault the food for value, also I've always found the staff pleasant and the service efficient. A good mix of people, as you would expect given it's location. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Windsor Castle, Marylebone

Great atmosphere in this "eccentric" boozer, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, also the home of the Handlebar Moustache Association!!!

Lord High Admiral, Lisson Grove

This is very much a local pub in a particularily rough part of Westminster, to be avoided

The Green Man, Edgware Road

Friendly local pub, youth hostel upstairs adds to the atmosphere, cheap drinks every night between 4 and 7pm! The pool table has gone and so have the dodgier clientelle, only pizza available on the menu, but a good place for a few drinks before hitting the West End!
