I have to agree with previous comment but did visit over the half term break and found it was being sold and everything has turned around grumpy old staff gone new owners. No longer a chore for staff to have customers in the pub. new management are very nice.

Can fault anything, staff great food amazing, no chips just how a pub should be. Beers are good too

Good range of beers and nice staff but unfortunately pub smells of chip fat,we spent time having a few drinks but left smelling very strange I dont think the chip fat has been changed in the fryer in a while. Shame really otherwise good pub.

The New Forest Hotel, Ashurst
Bank holiday weekend : only sandwiches, staff were incredibly rude, food was awful. Nothing to recommend this place for a start would be a smile from the grumpy staff. The female duty manager was just horrid looked dirty and was indifferent about customers. We waited 45 minutes for 2 cheese sanwiches costing �12!! Dont bother
