ive just heard its closing down again? wots going on in taunton at the moment im not back till April is there going to be anywhere for me and the lads to get some wets? dont want to go to the perkin with all the other dross come on taunton sort it out please

the wife went in there sat night, she said the doorstaff were rude and she had to squeeze throu the door as they didnt move to let them in, im back in afgan now so dont know wots happening in toy town at the mo will be home in jan so hope its still a nice place to go out.

back in Taunton from Afgan went in there on sat with the lads. great venue nice staff, manager seems nice lad (for a bog trotter) lol... Doorstaff good lads esp the small one. good beer looks like its gonna be my second home for 10 days.... cheers..

went in again on sat night it was great. alot of the old crowd were in there it was a good night. maybe Dr pangloss should come round my house and babysit my kids so me and the wife can go out more and enjoy the pubs we have in taunton instead of slagging them ALL off.

the wife and i were looking for somewhere to eat with a beer garden for the kids we drove in the car park at about 4.40pm on a weds only to see 2 lads having a fight in the car park and 1 getting hit with a glass hmmmm? nice place..

sorry its a nice looking pub but just been in there for food with the wife and all i can say its the worst place i have eaten in since the little chef on the 303 nr andover about 10 years ago. Shocking place.......

went in again on saturday night had a great time. 2 new doorstaff were great very chilled out. looks like the place is getting back slowly to when JP and jane had it. we then went to the perfect 5th fantastic night had by all....

Dr Pangloss do you like any pubs you go in? ive been in the moat a few times over the last week and i like the place. yeah the landlady takes a bit of getting use to but hey its better than that last Dragon that flirted with every bloke in a suit that might help her political career. as for the doorstaff i found them to be very polite.

i went back in there the weekend (May bank holiday) just back got from afgan had a few wets and a meal with the wife . love the place great food this time well done. Doorstaff crap no smiles personalty of a couple of house bricks. but great pub, great food,just get someone desent on the door please ......
