Bouncers were a turn-off - we didn't go in. Sounded very noisy from outside.

We were fortunate to find this pub while staying in Wells - excellent food and drink, as well as staff and patrons - highly recommended.

Excellent - great food, historic pub, all-around good place. Ale and cider well-kept and presented.
