Found the pub by getting lost on way to UAE & went back that evening - smashing service, got their last unreserved table.
Food brilliant, and lots of it, with lots of locals - a proper pub.
Can't wait to find excuse to visit in the day.

Visited week before August Bank Holiday 2011., eating twice with family. Good menu, proper portions - had starters as they had Whitebait, so never made it to the dessert menu either time.
Local crowd, quiz night on our last visit - what more could you ask?

Popped-in today as in Bramley - knocked spots off 'The Wheatsheaf'(other contributions confirm this).
Menu appears pricey on face value, but will hold judgement til I've tried it properly.

Looked closed at lunch time today.
Heard of a pub with no beer, but this one had no staff - hung around for a few minutes, then walked out!
First impressions made me keep my money in me pocket.

4.5.2008 Changed for the better since I last drank here. I must have looked like David McCullum from 'The Invisible Man' series, as the bar staff needed glasses themselves & only the boss realised I wanted a drink. Food looked good & will try this & report back

Found this pub by accident 3 years ago, when just changed hands.
Great to see the improvements made. Still has a fantastic choice of seafood on offer. It is not cheap - as with all things, you get what you pay for.
Shame it is not en-route to for us, or we would go more often.
This is what we should ALL be encouraging!

UAE is no place for a cenosillicaphobic like me, however UEA might be a better loaction for our son.
