What better compliment could you give to a pub, than ''The beer and spirit reps. have THEIR lunch there''. PRETTY GOOD, WHEN YOU THINK THEY HAVE THE CHOICE OF HUNDREDS.

Paid another visit, this time at lunch. The place is much brighter, after the hard work, the team have put in decorating and polishing. enjoyed my lunch, thick asparagus soup, and then cheeses (good ones), I think I will become a regular, as I live only four miles away.

The Hare and Hounds, Lingfield
Second visit, better than first, The Landlord was out. Previous writers (staff perhaps) say its the best food in surrey.

First four visits, excellent in every way. Inspired brilliance, to source locally when possible, and explain all items on menu. I was nearly a regular.....then fifth visit.....service gone to pot.....several queries to young inexperienced waitress....how long will it be???? I'll find out she says, well if she did find out, she did n't tell me, after 1 hour forty minutes I left....they did n't charge for glass of wine What added to my bad experience, was that I had told several neighbours, how when it first started as 'an experience pub' it was special,,,not now I fear....why give them a further chance, when there are more deserving enterprises. I notice the car park is not as full as hitherto.

If you are rejected from working in a hamburger bar, as to rude and scruffy, this will suit you down to the ground.It is probably a recomendation.

If you wish to pay the same price for your glass of wine, as they paid for the full bottle, this pub is for you. By the way, the price of wine does not include a smile.

The Abinger Arms, Abinger Hammer
i feel this once splendid pub, is now owned by a person that has bought it for himself, familly and dogs. Anything like the appearance of a customer, is a positive infringement. Even the dogs, spread out all over the floor, look highly put out, if you want to approach the bar, terrible shame. I think I will buy a pub, just for me! I don't think there is a rating mark for this pub.

The Angel, Reigate
I may have got it wrong, it looks shut, but if it has had �1m, inflation is worse than I thought. ishall visit next week, and chech it out.
