The Old Sun, Harlington

Food has been dummed down to suit the local taste. Good Sunday lunches and monthly theme buffets always packed. Friendly bar staff and manager and standard ales (periodic guest beers as well). No longer has a darts team but some of the old dominoers are still going (just).

The Lemon Tree, Covent Garden

Thai food is very nice and reasonably priced. Beer is expensive and not that well looked after ...

Just about worth it for the food ...

The Lamb and Flag, Covent Garden

A quirky little pub with real characters behind the bar!!! Standard well kept beers and first rate home cooking. Great in the summer stood outside in the sun - a great place to waste a few hours!

Hops!, Covent Garden

Nicely tucked away and not too busy ... boasts a pool table that needs renovating and two large screens for sports. 4 pint Jug of Carling for 8 quid!!! Has the essentials - menu is limited but food is good, cheap and the service is quick. Interesting mix of drinkers from theater goers to the big issue salesman.

The Salisbury, Leicester Square

A quality pub with great decor, very friendly and welcoming bar staff (Jaz the manager is the perfect landlord), great selection of real ales, fizzy pop and food (highly recommend the pies). An interesting mix of workers and tourists and even some regulars!!!
