The White Horse, Parsons Green

Despite media coverage of the Spurs-Chelsea brawl, this is a premier pub, (albeit pricy) and is a mecca for fans of real ale and good food in the Parson's Green/Fulham areas who don't like chain pubs. Hopefully it'll be back to normal very soon indeed.

The Rat and Ratchet, Huddersfield

Huge choice of ales on here, good atmosphere, light and easy jukebox, cheese + ham rolls on the bar

The Sair Inn, Linthwaite

Unbelievable! 1.60P for a pint of bitter. Compare that with pubs in brighton over 2.50 a pint and a likely a lot more than that in London!

Friendliest bar staff and local drinkers I have met since being "won-over" to real ale. Best home-brew beer in England in my opinion.

Have to see this pub for yourselves, best stay in Marsden and go there in a taxi.

The Cock and Bottle, Bradford

The place is definitely open, but good-beer-guide advertized opening hours are out-of-date. A fine beer range, also live music on some nights, i.e. Thurs evening.

Seabrooke crisps sold here, that's another good thing. Pub is split up into separate rooms giving the idea of drinking in someones house.

Camra Good-beer-guide (07) says the pub is open until midnight every day, but the pub definitely shuts at 11 on Thurs nights.
