The new owners also run the Top House in Aveley. Been there a few times found the people very friendly.

Under new management, great venue for proper live music. Top bands are gigging there.

Just opened after a refit had a quick pint last week not changed too much inside, the floor has been sanded and looking good. Money spent on the toilets (needed) not been in there though.

This pub is now open with a new name "Havering Oak" and is managed by Jay the landlord of the "Havering Well" not been in their but it does look ok, new windows allow views in and out.

Had a great Sunday evening 25th Sept.
Very friendly and a lively Karaoke' my wife sung 3 songs and got a singing booking for Saturday the 8th of October.

Under new management now.
Louise is the new landlady who comes from Aveley. The second bar is going to be used as a restaurant.
Very friendly.

I hear the Friday disco is going down well and Saturday is live music night with karaoke on a Sunday.
Not had a chance to go down there but it has to be better than it has been.

Nice friendly pub with a proper landlord, entertainment most weekends. Look out for Ruby on a Saturday night she gets the pub rocking.

Had the Sunday roast dinner last week, excellent fresh home cooked food not your ready meal variety. I can honestly say that the beef was the best that I have ever had.

Went past the pub on 14th of Feb it is closed and boarded up.

Not hearing anything good about this pub.
Would not trust the Landlady as far as I could throw her.

Been here a few times on a Friday and a Saturday evenings and found it to be unfriendly the bouncers practically push you out the door around closing time.

If you are at Liverpool Street station have a beer just to look at the decor.

Shaws Booksellers, Blackfriars
One of the best pubs in the area the beer is always top quality. Just what the doctor ordered for an after work drink on Friday, it can be busy but the atmosphere is good.

I have met the new owner yesterday 16th June he is looking to improve the entertainment and he is not happy to find out that the recent singers are ex Mike Reid agency.
Have had a few visits and always had a good time.

This pub is so much improved from a few years ago when it was called the Parkside. Quiet during the week but can get busy on Friday/Saturday when they have entertainment.

Not been here for a while under new management now ( Mick). The pub could do with a lick of paint but I had a good Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago. There was a singer Ruby Stone very entertaining and sociable. Will give Mick a ring to see when she is singing again.
