Kingsfield Arms, Harrow

Used to go to this pub on a regular basis before falling ill. Now I'm gradually getting back on my feet with the aid of crutches hope to go back soon..

Service started to go downhill a few months ago. Is now really, really bad. Sometimes they have two people clearing tables, 1 person behind the bar and 6/7 customers waiting - a disgrace..

Out of all the pubs in central Harrow this has to be the best (although being Harrow, it does'nt mean that much). I have always the found the staff to be friendly, specially the young guy with the 'crazy' haircut.

If your meals late you are guarranted to get a free drink as well.

I'm not into all the real ale stuff just an ice cold lager so this place suits me down to th eground. Have to agree with some other comments tho' does attract a certain "kind of gentleman"..

The Bolton Arms, Redmire

I went to this pub in early December 2005. I too found the landlord offhand. There was a large board outside offering Sunday lunch. When I went to the bar to order he asked me if i had booked! If you have to book why advertise to the public!! Personally I thought the guy a jerk...

In the end he 'graciously' allowed me to order lunch.

That said, the Sunday roastlunch was probably one of the best I have ever had....and it was generous!!

Pity the landlords attitude did'nt match the quality of the food..

I would give the pub 9/10 for the food but the hospitality drags it down to 3.

O'Neills, Harrow

Pub itself was nice as was the food - but the toilets!!!. In common with a lot of pubs in this area they were the pits!!!
