The Rising Sun, Swanmore

Went to this pub on a recommendation of a work colleague and was not disappointed.
Ringwood and Speckled Hen among the four real ales, we went on a quiet Bank Holiday evening and indulged in the aforementioned Ringwood and some excellent food from the bar menu.
The landlord was very welcoming and the staff were equally affable - very enjoyable, will be back soon.

The Three Horseshoes, Bighton

Margaret; the host of this real gem of a country pub, is a great character and a welcoming soul. Despite having to run the pub more or less on her own these days, she does a sterling job making everybody welcome.
The 'Shoes' stocks Palmers ales (the Copper ale is my personal choice) and some decent food too; no frills, just good honest nosh.
Go and say hello to the cats, the chickens and Cedric the guinea fowl - recommended.

The Yew Tree, Lower Wield

Great little pub in the middle of deepest, darkest Hampshire. Very friendly and welcoming staff, beer and food were excellent. Recommended.
