The Kings Arms, Hampton Court

Ate here again tonight. Wasn't at all busy but the service was really slow. Food cold again just like last time, also really average boardering on grim. Tartare sauce with a (dry and bland) lamb burger is odd in my book. The wine was bad and the pudding awful. Great decor though.

The Narrow Street Pub & Dining Room, Limehouse

this place is awful. dirty. no loo roll and no loo flush handle. poor service. no jugs for pimms. no record of our booking - even though we confirmed it that day. awful shop bought generic deserts. worst cheesecake known to man. the food is poor and the place is grubby. avoid it at all costs

The Kings Arms, Hampton Court

Went in here after a walk in Bushy Park on New Years Day, had always wanted to try it. Great location, cute on the inside but terrible service and cramped conditions. Food was made from good quality ingredients but was stone cold. Would try it agian though.

The Weir Hotel, Walton on Thames

Amazing roast dinner, un spoilt, non-chainy pub, nice staff, sweet old fashioned decor. Really charming would recommend for a nice family drink or lazy afternoon

The Dukes Head, Hampton

WEIRD, this pub is WEIRD! It looks amazing and it has its own trail from Bushy Park but unless you luuuurrrvvveee Tin Tin just dont go in. Its not all it seems! Its very local-tastic and felt a bit chavvy. Also was too hard getting served.

The Jolly Coopers, Hampton

This place is terrible. Tiny and unfriendly. There is a rumour it serves food but we couldnt get any on a Sunday afternoon Its like your mad granny's dirty sitting room. The only place worse than this is the World's end.

The Railway Bell, Hampton

Went here once, was a rugby day and it was fairly busy with people watching the old fashioned TVs. I could have seen myself going back here if it wasnt for the fact it smelt like one big men's toilet. My mate said it was a place her Dad would like. Its recommended in the good ale guide, so maybe it is a bit dadish. The beer garden looks great, just a shame the loos dominate the aroma.

The Bell Inn, Hampton

This place could be heaving....but isnt. I have been 3 times now. Once for sunday food which they had RUN OUT OFF!!!! How can you run out of roast on a Sunday when your pub is dead? Once for a quick drink before a curry (yes at that grim riverside place next door...avoid that) and last week, spur of the moment with a friend. Its huge and has a great old feel to it, with a nice river view. It even has a useful car park but its never full. I think its a real shame its empty. It was Saturday night at 7.30-8.00 and it was dead. The food seems pricey so maybe thats it. Could do with a tidy up too.

The Phoenix, Sunbury on Thames

The first time I went into this pub I fell in love with it. I ate there twice and had huge portions. The beef was okayish but the overall vibe was great. Recommended it to friends and we went back on a warm day and the food was scanky - truely disgusting. Pasta with soggy veg and a dried herb avalanche. In its defence it was also quiet busy. Would give it another go but am keen on the Magpie more.

The Magpie, Sunbury on Thames

I like this pub. I have only been in it twice. The first time I liked the decor and the location but the food was avergae. My roast had obviouly been frozen and looked like an identikit school xmas dinner. It has been taken over though and should be reopened after a refurb. Looking forward to going back in.

The Jockey, Sunbury on Thames

Oh my lord! I do not know what to say. This could be miles better. The staff were friendly but it was like walking into an episode of shameless. The decor is mental and it smells like a loo. The place could be thriving as its got a good location. it needs a lift and some organised seating thats for sure.

The Two Brewers, Windsor

Just went here for lunch with work. Its cute and unpretentious. The fires were on and the food was nothing short of amazing! We all agreed it was the best meal we have had in ages. The wine list is extensive. The manager was great too, friendly but not overbearing.
